Festival Overview

The sixth Kilifi Wellness Festival will be from Thursday 6th February to Sunday 9th February 2025 - a joyous celebration of love before Valentine's Day. It takes place at Salty’s Kitesurf Village on Kilifi’s stunning Bofa Beach and Three Degrees South Water-sports Centre on cliff-lined Kilifi Creek.

The festival is a safe and welcoming space for all who love art, music, yoga, fitness, discussion, dance, laughter and the ocean.

The festival starts with a blissful sound bath beneath the trees, and finishes with a dreamy cacao ceremony at sunset. The many highlights include Open Mic, dance performance and the moonrise dhow cruise.

The selection of professional teachers offer a plethora of movement styles, thought-provoking workshops and healing modalities to curate a deeply nourishing experience. Expect Vinyasa Flow, Meditation, Aerial, Circus arts, SUP Yoga, Yin, Breathwork, Qi Gong, Dance, Art, Laughter, Spoken Word and Tarot & Oracle Readings.

Therapists are available for private sessions including sound healing, Chinese medicine, massage, bodywork, reiki, physiotherapy, acupuncture, iridology and energy healing. The Festival Market is filled with inventive coastal creations, jewellery, crystals, fashion and health care products.

Festival Venue

Where an imposing creek meets a white sand beach, Kilifi is perhaps the most spectacular of Kenya’s coastal towns. The cliffs that line the creek are topped with whitewashed coastal houses, palm trees and baobabs, while the water beneath is dotted with yachts. Around the headland, the beach gleams white and the sea sparkles. Most of the festival takes place at Salty’s Kitesurf Village on Kilifi’s stunning Bofa Beach. SUP sessions take place at Three Degrees South Water-sports Centre and the Dhow cruise sails up cliff-lined Kilifi Creek.

Ticket Information

Tickets are available as a four-day pass, which gives you access to all events and workshops during the festival. One-day festival passes are also available on each of the four days. Saturday is family day, and we have a line-up of kids’ activities, as well as Flora the Face Painter who will be around during the lunch break. For people travelling to Kilifi, we offer tickets in various packages, all of which can be designed specifically to the needs of each participant, and include: festival entry, chosen accommodation in Kilifi, return flights between Nairobi and Malindi, and return road transfers between Malindi and Kilifi.

Variety of classes
Kilifi Wellness Festival is the perfect reset and retreat. I love the variety of classes from breathwork and Qi Gong to Bikram yoga and aerial silks. It is challenging and healing at once, and all at a safe and beautiful spot by the sea.

We'll be back!
This was our first time at the Kilifi Wellness Festival and on arrival we instantly warmed to the friendly atmosphere for two relative yogi novices, immediately putting us at ease. Saltys was the perfect venue with shady areas under the trees for acro and ariel yoga, secluded spaces for the more personal treatments such as sound bath and massage, the beach for morning meditation and the creek for SUP yoga. We immersed ourselves in the wellness culture for the full four days and left the festival with a whole new sense of wellbeing and many new-found friends. We will certainly be heading back.

Welcoming and Friendly
The teachers and organisers were the most welcoming and friendly to all levels and yogis capacities. All the classes held had great and calming vibes. The festival was very intimate which I believe set the perfect atmosphere to create wonderful connections with each other and Salty’s atmosphere added to this feeling with their beautiful ocean views. I’d like to thank the four wonderful women who made it happen and shared this beautiful experience with us.

Door Opening
"It was like an "open-doors" accessible to participants of all levels, and which got me interested in pursuing yoga. It was also the best way to start off the new year."
